Despair and sorrowful conditions in pets may take many diverse forms. It may vary from the visibly sad and lethargic animal to the pet having visible illness and behavioral tribulations linked with depression.
Animals form very deep affections to their possessor and to each other also. It is for this reason not surprisingly, when they demonstrate signs of grief and despair if their owner or a companion pet dies or is in trouble.
Some pets experience severance anxiety when their possessor goes away for a trip, or some times even when they go for a shorter duration. Severance anxieties can consequence in despair or more frequently in negative behavior such as digging, chewing or scratching.
