One of the most commonly occurring problems in pets is the prostrate problem. It is also known as BPH that stands for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. Similar to that in humans, this is frequently found in older pets and is an extensive problem in the male pets. The glandular tissue of the prostate augments in size with age and puts force on surrounding structures like the bladder thus causing urinary and defecation problems. Although Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia is not an infection nor is it cancer, itcan cause very worrying sign and may get worse very regularly with increasing age.

Varuna – Varuna is botanically known as Crataeva nurvala. Varun is a medium sized deciduous tree that is found all through in Indian subcontinent. It can be traced at the easily at the sides of rivers. Varuna has anti-inflammatory properties, it is diuretic nature, and it is lithontriptic and demulcent. It is also a good body tonic. It is helpful in treating urinary disorders, UTI, pain and burning micturation and kidney stones.
Punarnava – In Latin punarnava is known as Boerhavia diffusa. Punarnava has diuretic properties. It helps to preserve effective renal function. Punarnava or Boerhavia diffusa helps to preserve efficient renal function, with its diuretic, anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is a very helpful herb in treating edema. It is very effective in treating BPH.
Guduchi – Guduchi botanically is known as Tinospora cordifolia. Guduchi is used to perk up the immunity and resistance of the body towards infections. It is also an effectual immuno-stimulant. The plant is also used in dyspepsia, and a variety of fever. Guduchi assist raise in the efficiency of protective WBC and helps in making the body's own protection mechanism.
